Introduction
I am Changamiré, a Jazz/R&B singer in Washington, DC, USA. This story is about events leading up to and including my performance at the 8th Annual Georgian International Festival of the Arts (GIFT), the weekend of June 11, 2004, in the warm and charming city of Tbilisi, in the Republic of Georgia. The story is divided into sections, since it covers events that will appeal to avid readers of drama, musicians who handle their own business affairs, jazz fans who like celebrity, and world travelers. It is up to you to decide which part of this journey you want to take with me. I can promise you that in the end, everyone is happy. I have always wanted to perform abroad. But the road to Tbilisi was so very long. |
